Dont Blame Me

Sorry, I didnt get to post as planned because of bad weather. I didnt work sun-tues! Now, after my 8hr workday, I have a lot to say lol

I encounter alot of customers that like to blame me or my associates for certain occurances in the store that we have no control over. So, that is going to be my rant for the night. Let's begin.

Dont Blame Me when you come up to the register to pay for your items and one of your supposed $5 items rings up as $7! Are you really that cheap that you are going to argue me down over $2? I understand we are in a recession but let's be serious for a second. It's obvious that someone put the shirt, jeans, etc on the wrong rack. Most likely YOU did the same thing so please do not get an attitude and blame me. Thank you.

Dont Blame Me when you come into my JUNIORS sized store and get angry when you do not see any plus-sized ladies clothing. Why are you looking me up and down just because Im skinny, like I personally told the company owners to specifically discriminate against you? Why should ALL stores accomendate to your unhealthiness/weight? I had nothing to do with the clothing that is sent to the store. So, dont blame me, just go to a store that sells your size! sheesh!

Dont Blame Me when I kindly add candy and/or a broken item to your purchase. Your kid is NOT my responsibility. It is not my fault that you let your kid run rampant through the store and break jewelry. It is not my fault that you were not watching your kid when he/she got candy and opened it to begin eating. So, dont blame me, watch your offspring!

Dont Blame Me when your size is no longer in the item that you want and/or get an attitude about it. Dont ask me why we dont have your size anymore as if we didnt get it in just to spite you. OBVIOUSLY you are not the only person with your size sooooo that means that someone else bought it! *SMH* So, dont blame me, use your common sense.

Dont Blame Me when you try to return an item with NO receipt. What place of business have you EVER heard of lets customers return items without a receipt? Do not get angry with me because you lost your receipt and company policy states that I CANNOT refund your money without a receipt. So, dont blame me, be responsible.

Dont Blame Me when you come to my store at 9:15pm to find the door locked. Dont stand there knocking on the door as if I am seriously going to let you in. Dont get an attitude because we close at 9pm. You had all doggone day to shop. Why are you getting to the store 15 mins after closing? Did you know that the store will most likely still be there tomorrow?! *gasp* So, dont blame me, you should have gotten there earlier!

Well, I think that is quite enough for tonight. Like I have said before, if you found this to be offensive please do not continue to read anything else that I have to say. I am going to say what is on my mind uncut. Dont Blame Me, Im not making you read this lol

Intro...

Hello all...let me fill you in on who I am and why I wanted to start this blog.

Im a 22 yr old who loves fashion and shopping. I am an assistant manager for a very popular clothing store that will remain nameless for the entire writing of this blog.

I encounter a lot at work and I have come to this conclusion: customers are STUPID!

Now if you are the type of person who gets highly offended, do NOT continue reading more of my posts. I will state my opinions and annoyances that I encounter throughout my workdays and let you know why there are times you have experienced bad customer service and/or bad looks. You obviously asked a DUMB question or you are one of those irresponsible parents that lets your kids run around the store like its a freakin playground lol.

Starting Sunday, January 31st, I will begin posting on ways you can be a customer that retail workers will be more than happy to help.
